About the Building

This building is closed. Built in 1966, the Stearns Hall student residence shares its name with the county in which it resides and the hotel where St. Cloud State began as a normal school in 1869. Stearns Hall was closed for several years. It reopened in 2018 as a reduced-amenities/reduced-cost housing option.

    From 5th Avenue turn east on 5th Street S. Follow 5th Street two blocks to 3rd Avenue. Stearns Hall is ahead on your left.
