About the Building

Built in 1966, the Stearns Hall student residence shares its name with the county in which it resides and the hotel where St. Cloud State began as a normal school in 1869. Stearns Hall was closed for several years. It reopened in 2018 as a reduced-amenities/reduced-cost housing option.

    From 5th Avenue turn east on 5th Street S. Follow 5th Street two blocks to 3rd Avenue. Stearns Hall is ahead on your left.
