About the Building
Built in 1915, and with renovations completed in 1960 and 2014, Shoemaker Hall is named for Waite A. Shoemaker, president, 1902-1916. Shoemaker’s original 1915 portion is built in the Federal Revival Style. It is the second oldest building on campus and provides housing for more than 420 students. Students are able to enjoy and utilize a 24-hour technology lab, air-conditioning in east and west wings, quiet study areas throughout the building, and a large recreation room with billiards, ping-pong and foosball.
