Requesting Guest Network Access

Short-term guests can gain temporary access to the Internet via SCSU's wireless network. Guests must have an employee or student of SCSU sponsor their connection. Conference guests or visiting groups should be sponsored by their primary SCSU contact.

Sponsors need to login below to create a guest account.

The following considerations apply to this account:

  • Access to internal SCSU network resources will be limited. (The same as an off-campus network connection.)
  • Users will be expected to protect their own devices with anti-virus software and a firewall.
  • Guest accounts are linked to a single individual and are limited to one concurrent session per account.
  • If you have a group of 25 or more individuals requiring access, the sponsor should email to request access. This request should include the group name or event, number of guest accounts, start date, and duration of event.
  • Students may only sponsor 20 guest accounts per academic year and are limited to 3 guest accounts per month.
